How Does Writing Help as a Natural Therapy and Self-expression

Writing is considered by many people as a natural therapeutic agent since writing keeps the mind fresh and relaxed.  Just thinking of the words you are going to write will make the mind away from stress. 

Writing is freedom of expression.  It is self-expression with the use of chosen words.  Writing makes the mind fresh and alive.  It keeps the mind working and thinking of the better things in life.  Writing is one of the best ways of making life more interesting and thus happier.  This is why it is considered a natural therapy.

How does writing help a person to be happy?


Writing stimulates the mind


Writing stimulates the mind to think of better things other than worrying.  It is the things in your mind that keeps life happier.  It is the good things that you write about and the pleasantness that it brings to the heart and mind that helps the person to be happy. 

Writing is an interesting hobby


Writing is an interesting and a wonderful hobby that people engage themselves in to entertain their friends, love ones and help them feel happier.  People who express what they feel and connect to other people through writing have happy lives because they are able to do what they love doing and at the same time they are giving away something to other people.  If their work is read, they feel happy about it.   If they have made people happy through their written work, the more they feel happy.

Writing is a good way to escape realities and make life happier


Writing is sometimes an escape from the realities around.  Some people write in order to transport themselves to a place where they could fulfill their dreams and make them happier.  Fiction writers often make writing as a good way to live in another world where they are happier than the real world.  They make writing an escape to forget the unpleasantness that they are experiencing in the real world.

Writing changes situations


The real life situations are sometimes changed when a person writes.  Through writing the writer could choose what place, what event and what situations she wants.  Of course everything that she chooses will be things that will make her happy so the tendency is for the writer to become happier as she writes about the things she chooses.

Writing is an art.  It is expression of the feelings that comes from the heart of the person.  By expressing the feelings, life is made happier.  Writing helps the person feel better.  The feeling that the writer derives from writing is what makes her life happier. 

Whatever the writer is writing about, it is freedom of expression so it helps her become happier especially when she has expressed everything she wanted in her written work.

Many people write because of the love for words.  Writing is such a beautiful work where our feelings are thoroughly expressed.  This is the reason why writing helps a person to be happy.

Writing makes the person think, hence making new dendrites in the brain, improving brains plasticity. Thus keeps the brain active and disease-free. Thanks dear for sharing your views.

Yes it is true because when I was studying my human formation class we were really encourage to have a journal of our past and the present. It will really help us understand our being. Nice hub masmasika.
